Championship or non-championship event, it still involves a number of people travelling across the country and all gathering in paddock. Fortunate for those who are 'series' but equally I guess it may change some of the racing dates so clubs can squash
non-champioship' events into July to use the calendar effectively.

How about suggesting to 750MC you complete a non-championship round and don't score points, but still go racing in July?

I read it as British Championship events.... not club championship events. The British Championships are those which MSUK reports the results of in their mag.

It was the reference to national championships that caught my eye, do we believe we aren’t classified as a national championship?

Cheers

Hi Mark,

Hmm, I missed the national bit - it isn't really clear what it means. If it means that we can restart only as non-championship events then I suspect that the club will hold a series of non-championship rounds....... I guess the logic might be to reduce the pressure on people to race, i.e., people only need to race if they want to, not because of any championship ambitions, but it isn't really clear either way what they mean..... It will probably be all cleared up in next year's blue book! :?

I asked HQ, who said 750mc championships do not fall into this category.

There was a test day at Donington as well. I live 2 miles away as the crow flies and there were some lovely engine noises to distract me from working remotely.
