In the foreseeable future (next 4-5 years say) is there any prospect for the number of gears to be increased from 4 to 5? (for cars not running the fiat box)
The reason I ask is because as i'm rebuilding the marrow, the current set up doesn’t leave a lot of room for any gearbox bigger than the reliant, so if there is a chance of it changing, I will have to (prefer to) alter the chassis now to allow for a different gearbox in the future rather than have to bodge it later down the line.
Obviously any answer wont be definite, but a rough idea would be good
