Ford Coil Pack Firing Order

Just out of interest does it matter if you mix the pair of leads up on the coil pack e.g.
you have 1-4 and 2-3 does it matter which side of the coil they go to?

It will not matter if 1-4 are swopped on the same side as they both fire at the same time as does 3-2 .Its important that the marking on the coil pack are observed 1-4 must go to 1-4 side
as must 3-2 . mixing up will result in damage to the starter if its a normal fiat starter by it back firing. make sure the leads are well marked.

I’m pretty sure the layout will as per the photo, 3 pin connector at the bottom, 1-4 on the left, 2-3 on the right. Mine is like this. Google your thread title and you’ll see other images showing this…

I have tried that sort of photo thing but I forget I'm not going to remember and by the time I do remember it is to late because I forgot so I can't remember what I was trying not to forget. Also I can never find the camera.
