Cheap First Race

I spoke to Giles Groombridge at the National Kit Car Show, and it seems that you can do your first 2 races without paying the full registration fee for the Championship.
You have to have Club membership and a race licence of course but for each of the first 2 races you pay £25 instead of the championship registration fee and on your 3rd race the balance of the Championship becomes payable.

I didn't know about this. Apparently it is somewhere in the club regulations but I haven't managed to find it yet.
This is a very good idea for anyone wanting to borrow a car to try out the formula or just run 1or 2 races to see what it is like.
Most people are addicts by the second race.

Thanks Martin , this is good news as I hope to run the golden oldie at the last 2 races as a shake down from a long lay off Andy
