Hi everyone,
Bit of a cheek I know but as a sponsor perhaps you will indulge me for a moment or two, especially as this is the first time I have had anything remotely sensible to say. First of all can I say how pleased we are at PCG to be sponsoring the 750 Formula for the third successive season, and both Ann and I look forward to some exciting races, fun at the post race get togethers and those legendary low fat feasts that my co-director conjures up from a loaf of bread and a few other bits n pieces she picks up from Sainsbury's late at night. I am soley responsible for the Alcohol content !?
On that note I think my erstwhile business partner and friend, deserves your support as she embarks on a challenge of her own, by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in aid of two local children's hospices that are in ever greater need of financial support in these desperate economic times. Ann will be making the ascent in early Decmeber accompanied by her friend [ another Ann ] and at their own expense. This is a tough challenge being undertaken by two very gutsy ladies and I am giving them both my full backing to raise as much money as we can for terminally ill children and others less fortunate than ourselves.
If you wish to give anything, or indeed if you just want to know more at this stage, please visit Ann's web site at www.justgiving.com/anndaniels. I shall be making a very short announcement of a little incetive I have in mind for this project after the prize giving at Brands Hatch a week on Sunday. I look forward to meeting up with you all again [ seems like another close season since Snetterton ] and as Peter says, everything else is just waiting for the racing to start. Who knows, if Paul is very kind to me again, I may just get the chance to poodle around at the back again before the end of the season.
Cheers everyone, thanks for allowing me to chat to you...............see you at Brands. Mike Izzard
