Championship Bulletin

I was probably the only one that missed this being added to the regulations page:

https://www.750mc.co.uk/ugc-1/1/1/0/750_formula_championship_bulletin_00.pdf

CHAMPIONSHIP BULLETIN
CHAMPIONSHIP: 750 FORMULA
PERMIT NUMBER: CH2020/R021
BULLETIN: 001
Change Requested:
1.5 Championship Rounds
The 750 FORMULA CHAMPIONSHIP will be contested over the following rounds:
Date Circuit Round/s
4/5 April Silverstone Nat 2 - CANCELLED
30/31 May Donington Park Nat 2 - CANCELLED
27/28 June Brands Hatch Indy 2 - CANCELLED
26 July Mallory Park 2
23 August Silverstone International 2
13 September Anglesey 2
17/18 OctoberSnetterton 300 2
1.6.2 Scoring
The totals from all qualifying rounds run (excluding any races which are abandoned and which are not
replaced) less 1 will determine the final championship points positions.
Reason for Change:
To reschedule the races that have been lost as a result of Covid-19 related cancellations and reflect
the reduced number of rounds available.

With Anglesey gone it looks like best 5 scores out of 6 rounds will be used to sort it all out this year

That is interesting I certainly hadn't spotted that and was assuming dropping two scores. I have been playing with the numbers and I calculate that Peter could afford to finish 6th overall in the first race at Snetterton and not even start the second race with Mark winning both and would still win the championship on count back!! Not that Peter is going to do any of that of course. Someone else might want to check the numbers but I think that is right.

I created a points table Excel sheet which I can share if anyone wants to dictate potential finishing positions. Would need to email it.

Thinking about it, they have made the change based on 8 rounds but we now only have 6 so maybe they will issue another bulletin to say we count all 6......possibly!!

When I went to the booking-in part of the website it showed round 4 of the 750 Formula championship at the Silverstone National meeting and to call the club to book.
I have phoned the Club, but James didn't know about it so it could be a mistake on the website. I am waiting to hear back,
