Gear Kit

Postby Alan B » Mon Aug 24, 2009 6:18 pm

I know its probably a waste of time but just in case some one has a gear kit for a reliant box tucked under their bench that they may want to convert into cash please do get in touch!
I have lots of Standard reliant boxes but having been out 4 times and eaten two gearboxes I am tired of changing them!

Bump!

No you are all rapidly redesigning your cars, anyone likely to be selling their reliant race box? I will be racing more this year and dont want to changing gearboxes every race!

Sorry Alan, I can't help. I'm in a similar situation. I broke my race box last year and will be trying to source a suitable replacement when I return to the UK.

In transit is the only way of describing my location. Last seen in Rio 3 days ago :D

As your front engined your best best might be an A series box with a close ratio kit as there are a few of them about, I think there is a MG Midget forum where there are normally some for sale.

Otherwise is a case of persuading Mr Welsh to make a couple of new sets.
