Due to other commitments I may be selling my Darki Mk5b.

I don't like it being sat there not racing!

Thought I would post on here if anybody interested before eBay

Can also offer wheels and covered trailer as package.

Drop me a message if interested.

Hoping to be out for Oulton this year

Hi Lynfel,

Sorry to hear that you may be leaving us. The car should be easy to sell, it is well known, sorted and has the potential to be quick. I know some of the work that Jon Lee did to it when Paul Collins owned it and it really has everything. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Pete

Been missing racing and all the people, just been really hard with time this last year; hoping to get to Oulton and maybe the Birkett if possible. Will keep car if not sold as will come back, just a shame to see if sat in garage so long!

Cheers

Hi Lynfel,

I haven't been hanging around here for that long so do not know the history of the car. Please could you give a little more detail on the car package / spares etc... and where you would improve it if you could and what other spares are required?

Also do you have a price in mind?

I haven't used the PM on this site yet but I'll give it a go if you want to keep things private.

Ta

Geoff

I've known this car for many years. There aren't many opportunities to buy a Darvi. Especially a Mk5.
If anyone wants to race with us, in my opinion as a Mk5 owner (whose car is now going considerably quicker now the nut behind the wheel has changed), you couldn't do much better than this one.
Snap it up.

Oh how I wish I had some extra car vouchers, I would love to have a go in this. As Sue says snap it up and get out there.

If anyone wants a copy of an article I did a few years ago on Dick Harvey & Mick Harris with The Darvi History, PM me your email address & I'll send it. In recent memory this Mk5 was Paul Collins's & before that Peter Sleight's

Yes please Sue. And if anyone wants Richard Scott's Centaur history and recollections (Conway?) I'd be happy to forward a copy.
